We had been wandering through the museaum, as we were skunked out of going to the zoo due to it being closed for a special event...and we turned the corner into the room with the Monet and she just walked toward it and stopped like that. She said it was her favorite painting in the museum, and she knew what it was (water and lilies.) I think her reaction was due to the size of the painting as much as anything.

Shortly after Micah and I started dating we went to St. Louis to see the Monet's at the art museum. We have a shot very similar to this.
I believe I had a similar reaction too. At least she isn't in a position to enroll in art school...yet.

What a posture: stunned! How long did she stand there like that? Were there other paintings that snagged her in such a way?
